FYI those who dream of a Termignoni future

I've just been informed that Termignoni is in receivership in Italy.
For those who are unfamiliar with that term see --->GM.
I doubt Obama is going to step in to save our beloved (but damn pricey) aftermarket exhaust provider
No doubt someone will most likely buy the brand and it's assets (Ducati??)
Just thought you would all like to know.
Now who is going to call around and see if we can get a deal on a group buy...there has to be an importer interested in helping Termi dump a few boxes....anyone?

I am going to cry if they go  :'(

(the following is a joke and is NOT intended to open a long winded discussion on other things besides Termis.)
Has anyone figured out who's to blame for this recession yet? I need to focus my hate on something visual.
I need to objectify a name. It has to come down to one person/group to make it easy even if it's completely artificial.
Who got rich and took all ma monaey?  ???

Bankers? Can I hates on some bankers?  >:(

You can hate on Dani Pedrosa. I blame him for most things.

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

ciao a tutti -

receivership is a very common phase for most italian companies to go through ... just look at bimota.

termi has such a rich history as a brand, i don't see them going away ... most likely, some rich individual or investment group will swoop in and get the brand/company at a bargain price, restructure the management team, and keep/get termi back on its feet.

ptam

This is a bummer ... hopefully someone will pick them up.

Yeah, it's one of the common business phases Italian concerns go through:
Concept
Startup
Funding
Growth
Mismanagement
Sheer Chaos & Incompetence
Receivership
Absorption into a Conglomerate

bimota? pssSHha, FIAT, DUCATI... the government.
It is one of those new countries you know. 1861 unified, republic 1945.
Ok cities formed with stone bridges, well managed streets and plumbing in rich resort communities a thousand years before everyone else, but what ever. The germans were in caves still.  [coffee]

Ya I like the design that goes with the bike. I don't want a frakkin ZARD on my bella moto.
