Well after 7 years its time to replace my old Helds with some new ones.  Anybody know of the prices around?

I think they had a few pairs of Helds at Foothills BMW here in Denverland (technically maybe it's Lakewood).

I can't recall the pricing though.

You need them now or can you wait 5 months?  Here's why --

Road Rider (http://www.roadridermca.com/), a local store that does mail order, has a Thanksgiving sale that is just awesome.  Everything is cost + 15%.  They'll even do it for special orders.  So when you know you need a big-ticket item and you know it'll fit, it's a great way to go.

I got two pairs of Helds and a Shoei X-11 from them last year, all special order.  I'm not kidding when I say that it saved me hundreds of dollars.

They had some Held Phantoms for $219 if you can stand.... green.

Held has an awesom new model , the Titan .  Titainium knuckles , Kangaroo Palms, plus 3 wide strips of Sting Ray Skin on the outside of the meat of the Hand and across the Palm of the Hand and too many other protective features too list here.

All I can say is I have the Held Akiras, 2 pair of Phantoms and the Titans and the Titans make me feel the safest while being extremely easy to put on and take off plus the comfort is second to none except maybe my Dainese Full Metal Racers but they offer little in the way of protection in comparison to the Titan.
