My open udder observations......

I'm sure you could...... I noticed that my Arrow baffles fit nicely in the udder with no pipes but you would need to make some straight tips or weld them into place.

I'm toying with the idea of plugging the bottom outlet on the udder & running one cored OEM can or possibly a custom piece with a larger diameter pipe & can. If it comes out nice, I'll take it off & have it Jet Hot coated silver.

I also run my s2r 1k with the open udder and just recently had my 6k service, and the guys at my dealship got bored and wanted to see what it was showing on the dyno. they ended up showing that it got 80.15 max power and 60.55 max torque. they said that performance was alot better then they though it would be but that the air/fuel ration was a little high it danced right around 15 which they said that over a long period of time can cause excess wear on the engine.

I'm running mine with just the udder and I'm a little worried that it might be running lean. Haven't pulled the plugs but I will this weekend.

I used the Packing and the perforated tubing from my Termi's I chopped up and created the perfect tone

and it also resulted in the right amount of back pressure so the bike doesn't run too lean.

It would look a lot cleaner if you used rivets instead of those exhaust brackets. My 2 cents.

When I was running the Open Udder on my S2R1K I did notice a slightly lean condition.
fter installing a FATDUC I was able to get rid of all the poping on decell and the bike ran much better/stronger..

How do you seal the tips when you use rivets

Ceramic all the way. Powder coat will bubble up with the heat.

Go to Lowes or Homedepot for the Rivet gun....$20, rivets $7 and the drill bit too. Your bike will look even better than it already is.
