Ok let's give this a try.

Let's start a collection of local routes that we enjoy in the area.  Go to http://www.motorides.com/ and create your route.  When it's up post your link to it here along with a print screen of the map.

Ok I just got done posting my first one and I think the map part should be optional.  It's nice if you take the time but it's quite a process.  Here's how I did it: Full screened the map, pushed the "print screen" button on my key board, opened Paint, copied image, saved it, uploaded it to a seperate website (myspace in my case), right-clicked on the photo and went to properties, copies the "location", clicked on "insert image" on here, copied the location.  Simple eh?

I tried to do one for the SE metro but I didn't realize that I needed to do the screen shot before submiting it.  And it seems that mine wasn't selected to actually be posted on the site...
