A lot of you are members of the Ducati MOB (if you're reading this, you're probably a member -- if unsure, PM me).  The DOC group at the factory has on online registration form for DOC welcome kits (the cool schwag kits from the factory, for DOC club members).

and follow the link to the welcome kit area.

The instructions are fairly simple.

VERY IMPORTANT: i just tested the process ... you will be emailed automatically after you submit the request form, so please make certain to use your correct email address. once you receive the confirmation email, click on the link in the email. ONLY THEN, will your registration form be processed, so i can approve it in the presidents area.

DETAILED INSTRUCTION FOR THE CORRECT FILLING OF THE FORM

1. Fill in every part of the form

2. Enter your e-mail address where requested

3. Select your country and your Doc Club [in this case, "Ducati MOB"). You are allowed to select at least 3 clubs but your request gives you the right to receive only a kit.

4. Wait for the activation e-mail to arrive at the address you have specified and click on the link inside it to confirm the address and activate the application.

5. Complete data entry and click Send.

6. Your application will be received by the system, which will then submit it to your President.

7. You will receive a message showing the status of your application. It may be:
* Approved (the president has recognized you as one of his members and authorizes delivery of the kit)

* Denied (Possible causes: the president has not recognised you as one of his members and does not authorise delivery of the kit. Contact him if you require further information / the president has noted erroneous data, cancelled your application and invites you to fill in the form again. The procedure will recommence from the start: contact him should you require further information or to notify erroneous data entry)

IMPORTANT: We recommend that you only apply for the Welcome Kit after joining a Ducati Official Club via the channels requested by the clubs choosen.

I did that when it first got posted and I *think* you approved me (OK, no more cracks about TEAL minivans), but so far no schwag is forthcoming. 

I see you in the "approved" list -- I'll check with other folks on how long the packages are taking to show up -- I'd guess 8-10 weeks, which would be about now.

I received and email a while ago, but nothing else since.

the DOC welcome kit will be shipped to you or to the club headquarters in accordance to the choice of your club's president."

So, will it go to the Tigre Den, or here to the Duc-cave?

I was under the impression things would go to direct to members...  I'll confirm.

Filling out the form was only slightly awkward.  It took me a while to figure out how to list my Honda as the third bike.  The model definitely wasn't in the choices - then I figured out to use the "Other" box.

I'm sure that by the time anything actually shows up I will have forgotten all about this.

I know I registered for the swag when this notification first went out, but don't recall the whole point of confirming the email.  Can someone check if I'm due for some goodies?  If not, I can register again.

What's your real name?  I can check against the list.

Just got an update from the DOC liaison in the US.  You have not been forgotten.  Sounds like they are expecting all the packages to go out within the next 30 days or so.

They have only a small team able to do this, and they have been manually processing/stuffing.
