well if vince is taking a car maybe he might want to pick me up on the way or maybe he wont. 

That's me hypothesizing but I don't think he likes the road much any more.

And you raise it to engage?

well then ill try not to wear the seat out and the lever  . i sure i can engage it for Dock, im very multi tasking person

Just be careful not to yank on it to hard, you may rip the rubber of the end or even worse bend it
