Hidy ho, I bought a 2000 Monster 750 last fall and really just began riding it this summer. It's been a good bike, a little long legged for my tastes so I'd like to change the gearing, and oh yeah, it died on the highway yesterday.

Died on the highway?  Ouch.  What happened? Any ideas?  Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the DMF, glad to hear that for the most part you've been enjoying your 750.

Don't forget to check in with your local group, MADDOG

I see you've already gotten some advice in the Tech forum. [thumbsup]

Hope to hear some good news soon about you getting it up and running. :)

Turns out that having a sticky starter button means your starter relay will not last all that long and it might just decide to stick in the on positiong causing a significant draw and blow out your ignition fuse. Works now.

I put on a 14T front sprocket today, really like it. Not everyone likes it, but I do...

Glad you were finally able to figure it out. [beer]
