Got the shock swapped out last night and took the bike for a spin today between thunder storms.  The rear end feels awesome now!  Makes me think the shock has been having problems for a while, I just couldnt diagnose it until it got really bad.  Thanks again! [moto]

Np. This one is from an S2R1000. Had to ask for the pic to make sure they were the same! The later bikes had a slightly stiffer rear from what a tech told me. Its suppose to have a 8.9kg/mm spring. Glad it works much better than your old one! Ride on!

THe shock itself is only 3 years old and only 9,000 miles on it. Swapped it out for a 999 Showa, so its better in your hands than on my shelf!

Glad your back on the road! Have fun with the black light pen!

DESMODIVA is the best!

Pictures coming but a HUGE thank you for the tasty beverages!     [clap]      [wine]

As soon as I post pictures on this thread, look for a posting on the
drunk thread shortly after.    ;D

Thank you again!

Ummmm....did I seriously say "shortly" as in "...look for a posting on the drunk thread shortly after."  And it's been what, like 8 months?!

Ok, that's out of the way.

DesmoDiva:  THANK YOU for the awesome wines you sent in November!  [wine]   Randimus and I had a great weekend in the mountains and I packed them along.  We tested the corks at 12,000 feet (+/- a few feet) on Independence Pass and they stayed secure.  Here's a few pictures:

Brian and I posing nicely at a trailhead on the pass:

Totally posing at a church in Aspen:

Two drunks in a 95 degree hotel room (95 because there was no A/C) and an empty bottle.  It was delicious!

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.
