Hello Monster Forum members. Not that you care, but I'm from Escondido, CA: 30 minutes from the top of Palomar. I have a ST4 and an Aprilia Mille R. I just bought a friends wrecked Monster, 2000 M900S, from the insurance company. It was too nice a bike (before the accident) to feed to the vultures. I joined this forum to learn about Monsters and ask advise from others who've been there with building/re-building bikes in general and Monsters in particular.
  I have to admit, I've always liked these bikes and am gald to have one, even if it needs some TLC before our first trip together.

Congrats on your new Monster, good luck with putting it back together.  Check in with the Tech and Accessories & Mods forums for some advice.

Oh, and we'd love to see pictures of it if you get a chance (before and/or after), your other bikes too.
