Currently own 2006 Kawasaki KLR650 which the local Ducati boys got running really great (exhaust, dyno, jet kit, sprockets and motor)
Soon to purchase 2009 Monster 1100
I have been riding since the age of 12 which makes it about 28 years.
With the recent disability the riding style has changed but not the riding. After being told I would never walk again 10 years ago the happiest day of my life was when I got back on a bike.

what kind of mods have been done to your bike? what plans are the ducati guys (which shop) have for the 1100?
