I will be moving to the Groton area in September for ~ 6 months.  My wife and kids will be staying in VA  , that leaves me by myself with nothing else to do after school but ride, fish and hunt.    I know a few of you are in the area.  Hopefully we can get a few good rides in before it turns to cold.  Any good places in the area to watch the last few MotoGP races?

No clue yet.  I was up there two years ago, so I know the area and I know a few people.  I think I am going to try to bum a room off of one of them.  Or due to the timing I may be able to split a vacation rental with a few other guys for a decent price.  I am keeping my eyes and options open.

Found a place in Ledyard.  It has space for me to keep a bike there and I can shoot deer in the back yard.   
The move is coming up soon, DIMBY is coming up soon. 

Any good bike events in the SE CT area? Bike nights, etc?

Bike nights? I don't know of any. But Ledyard is just up the road from me...

I know of a number of bike nights and stuff, but the one's I know of are on the other side of New Haven. There's Tuesday nights in Southport and Stamford, The Ducati/Ferrari meets on Sundays in Rocky Hill and probably the biggest regular meet is Sundays at Marcus Dairy in Danbury...

Did they ever get anything together up at the Vanilla Bean?  Some guys were trying to before I left 2+ years ago.
