So Aug. 1st i wrecked the M1100. I purchased a set of leathers that did an awesome job when it mattered. None of the stitching came apart and the skining of the leather is at a level to be expected considering what they went through. Absolutely on par with $1200 alpinestars for $400. We cant all afford the $2000 plus suits we want, till you can afford it, these worked out real well for me. ( except the broken collar bone but that didnt have to do with the suit )

I have no affiliation with these guys just want to share some experience.

Thanks for the tip, and sorry you got to test their effectiveness. Get well soon.

Sorry to hear about you mishap.

Glad your leathers did their job.

Next time may I suggest landing on your Butt if you can.

I've had 2 broken collar bones .

1 was from a motocross crash and the other wrestling in high school.

One of the most uncomfortable broken bones to have as you now know.

this is the set i wore when i hit the railing. 199 euros, but i got it at a 30% discount.

held up very well with no serious injuries and no penetration. knee patch for sliders stitching got ripped a little, but i attribute that getting my leg caught between the bike and railing, almost tore my boot off too.

Hope you're healing well.  Once you're feeling better, mind doing a detailed review of the suit?  At $400 they look like quite a steel

my buddy has an alpinstars suit we laid them side by side and compared the 2. all the places that his had single stitches so did mine, where he had double stitching so did mine. The perforation on the suit made it comfortable and the suit had good air circulation. I bought this suit a couple months ago and was very satisfied with it, but after seeing how well it held up after my wreck i knew i had to share the good deal. When you look at the suit you dont say well 400 what did you expect, anyone who has seen it exclaims 400 your f*cking kidding right.
soon as i can i will try to get picks up. I got a red suit and it is not a dull red its not bright but it is more red than the A*. My suit definately has some life left in it but i will replace it with another pair of the same.
Im 6'2" 217 lbs not big bellied and i got a 48 and it fits comfortably painted on.

They also have a SWEET X-Men 2 piece. If I ever ride to Comicon, I need that thing.

That's a bit hookie, but the suits kaos linked to are fairly sharp... Custom for $500... Hmm wonder how custom.  Some perfs in the back and loosing the wonky logos would be nice.

How is the Armour secured?  Could you swap it out for other?  Any pockets inside?  Removable liner?

there is no pocket for a back protector and the armour on the inside is held in place with a pocket with velcro closure. ive only messed with the shoulder ones.
like i said before i will definately replace mine with another from them.
the liner is a mesh type liner thats velcrod in place appears removable i havent had to, and now i cant with a broken collar bone.
When i spoke to them they said 2 or 3 week turn around for custom suit.

As an inexpensive custom option, A lot of folks around here go with TILT custom suits.  I think they're under $400.  http://www.tiltcustoms.com/Home.html

I have no FHE, but I know that the suits have been crashed-tested on the street and track (and continue to be tested  ;D).

Very intriguing... I might have a go at this.

That Ducati suit looks sharp!!!

Causeofkaos:  Glad the suit protected you as expected!! Contact me if you want to sell it when you get a new one (we are about the same size). I imagine you might want to keep it as a spare though.

Cheers!
