I'm from San Francisco.
Been riding about 6 years now, with one walk-away wreck at precisely 47 MPH.  I have the speedo to show it.  I kiss it for good luck before I go riding 
I'm on a new (to me) 2001 red 748.  So I guess that makes me a bit of a lurker in the monster forum, but since my first bike was a 620, I hope I might be welcome to hang my hat here on occasion.

Been a DML guy in the past, and now I'm back on two wheels after a few years sans moto.
Used to wring the ever living crap out of a little 620 I lovingly called silver bullet.
Then I started dragging hard parts, many times, and decided that was pushing it a bit.
I'll be having fun out in north bay and south bay rides most weekends, and I'm going to do a couple of track days a year.

I'm interested in group rides and general chatter about good roads, technique, and the like.
