I suspected a there were a couple out there.
I should have specified...World at War, though I too have pre-ordered the new one, due in November. I am way more excited about that than a man my age should be about a video game.

Teddy-
I hadn't played it online either (mostly do to my anti-social nature) until I reconnected with an old friend via Facebook. We now "meet" regularly online and attempt to slay the competition in Team Deathmatch. We are rarely successful and undoubtably get schooled by twelve year olds very often.
I gotta tell ya' it is great fun.

So the reason started this thread is twofold;
1) I wondered if anyone else in Hawaii is experiencing "lag" as of late and
2) I wonderd if any of you would like to get a DMF CoD thing going. After gaming with my buddy, I find it kinda dull when he is not on. But he lives on the east coast so it makes it difficult.

I've played the wii version, because I am a lame-o wii owner.  I suck in ways that cannot be described in mixed company.

We have a Wii also...but I didn't even know they made CoD for it.
The SO and I do tennis, baseball, etc. on the Wii. I definitely bought thing on a whim.

I'm not in Hawaii, actually Florida, but there is a connection from the CDC to you guys... you know who you are. Anyway, I try to play every day. Been playing CoD MW more, but I'm willing to go back to W@W to help you guys beat up on the 12 year olds. I'm usually pretty good, average top 3, in Team Deathmatch. I was also pretty good at War. I haven't played the new maps and I'm not willing to pay for them. My Gamertag is DucatiRican. Add me to your friends list and let me know when you next play and I'll join you guys.

 

I haven't played it on the x-box much but have it on my MacBook. Love the game and spent a lot of down time in Afghanistan playing.

So you were in a combat zone playing a "shooter" video game?  I find that incredibly ironic.
