What's up ya'll? This is my first post here; I just wanted to say hi.  I bought a 09 696 in May, first bike ever. I have been learning to ride it since; totally humbling but awesome! Anyway I just want to get piped into the local ducati community. Cheers! Ryan

Cheers and welcome to the madness. Congrats on the first bike... good taste! Where did you get it and what part of town do you live in? We are spread out all over the metroplex so I am sure that you live near some of us. The heat of the summer and personal stuff has kept the board more quiet than normal but with cooler fall temps the rides will pick back up for sure! Please don't be afraid to join us on rides, newbies are as welcome as veteran riders. All are accepted and accommodated. The group will not ride off and leave you, sure the faster guys/gals take off but you will not be encouraged to chase after them. There are plenty of folks on group rides that are content just to cruise along. The "fasties" always wait for everyone at any intersection where there is a change of direction. You'll never be left behind and lost. Good folks for sure!
