You will soon see that we speak the truth and are only looking out for your own best interests.  ;)

And Will, I need to bring the yellow beast down to get a safety done on it pretty soon.  Also, do you know of any good machine shops around?  I need to get a new little mounting bracket whittled out for my top mount steering damper to sit flush.

pele bug around the corner from the shop is pretty good, bring it down and i'll direct you the the place.

Cool, thanks.  Now it's time to get the grill going.

hmmmm, I wonder if Pele could whip up an exhaust hanger/passenger footpeg eliminator for my SF...Shift-Tech has an aluminum one for $150, which is a lot of $$$ for something as simple as that...

stupid automatic smiley maker thing...

idk, if you want to factor in the shop's overhead, the machinist's time and tooling, it can get pretty pricey.

granted, once you're tooled up, it's more cost effective to make a couple hundred parts than just one...

I guess just seeing things from the other side of it makes me not worry so much over the cost of billet bling

eltristo

Funny, I don't worry about it at all; I just don't buy it.  Usually.  Besides, I have a $2K repair to an overpriced car I needs to be saving up for.   I'm sure vacation will help that cause immensely.

150 would be alot cheaper than getting one made.
