Would it be wrong to do DucatiWiki.org and include all Ducatis, rather than just monsters?  Or how about Ducatimonsterwiki.com?

monster.wikia.com is available on wikia.com right now

Well, if we can host the wiki and maintain it, we should do that.  If not let's use wikia to host it.

I have a host, and would like to "give back" by setting this up domain and hosting wise.

Also note that DucatiWiki.com and .net are just place holders that were purchased in 2006 and no one has done anything with... There are two threads going on this subject.

The owner of ducatiwiki.net, Aldon Caron, is open to letting the Monster fanatics add to his existing wiki, which is currently aimed at the ST family, but has been set up to include 851 and 888 information (if I can get around to adding some stuff in that category).

He also mentioned that he was looking at letting the Multistrada guys add their stuff as well.

This is a great opportunity to create one unified Ducati wiki that would be truly useful to all Ducati riders, rather than having a bunch of separate ones for each model.

We need to seriously consider joining forces here.

Yeah we tried to add a poll to this one first but couldnt get it to so we started another one to have the poll...

I tend to agree with you Scott, one unified Ducati Wiki would be the best thing for the whole community as long as we could work it out with Mr. Caron.
