4-6 weeks?!  Sorry to break the news but you'll be feeling it for years.  But what I learned is that women's t-bones don't heal quite like men's.  I don't recall why but that particular tidbit stuck with me.   [roll]

As far as riding, you might be pleasantly surprised because you're not likely sitting directly on your broken butt, in an upright position.  Good luck!!

i am still dealing with a deep bone bruise in my tailbone from 16 months ago - no plans of me ever riding all the way to dimby.

as a result of said injury, i had to send my gs seat in for major surgery.  i will pick it up when i get back to denver.
