I have a Progressive policy for my Monster and Allstate for my 996, but I need to have full-year coverage for both to have policy in effect. I hardly ride at all from Nov to Feb. but my old moto insurance agent that gave me partial year policies isn't around anymore. Just wondering who you guys use and would recommend?

already tried geico and eSurance but they're not that great on price.

Dairyland is cheapest for most people.

But if your not riding the bike during that time. Id just cancel the insurance policy and say you dont want to ride it anymore. They will pro rate the refund. and just start it back up when you know you want to ride.

I use State Farm.  Less than $450/yr FULL COVERAGE.

Progressive. $270 for full coverage if I pay upfront.

I use State Farm it is a lot for the 1098 but i'm only 24 to say i can not wait to turn 25 for that insurance decrease is an understatement........somewhere around $980 a year for full coverage and a 1k deductible.  However every other company i talked to wanted upwards of $3k a year  [bang]

I think my nut was about $370.  There are many factors that'll affect yer rate, especially where you live.  That $270 that mookieo2 is paying is because he lives nowhere near a city.

That's nuts, I pay about $350 for basic on two bikes for a year.  Full coverage for 1 would cost me about 3k+ per year, but I live in a borough.

im with glatern. they want an arm and a leg for full covereage. though ti droped from 3k to about 1.5k this year when i turned 21. It might drop to 800ish where i can afford it. then ill be parking my bike in some serious questionable places..... maybe if i get lucky soneone will steal it so i can buy an S4Rs. :p

I think I'm going to drop collision coverage. If I pay roughly 900/year plus a $1000 deductable if I crash, doing the math I've already thrown away roughly $3000. I could even have done something god forbid like destroy the frame and likely SAVED money by getting a new (used) frame and fixing it myself. Then also if I made a claim my rates would be anally raping me from here to eternity.

INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE CROOKS.

...i'll still keep theft and medical of course.
