Ended up doing the Crest twice with Cloner and John and met up with DucMouse, Dusty, THP and KB to go for a third time  [moto].

Looks like the weather will be good tomorrow morning until early in the afternoon.  I'm goin' for a ride!

Who wants to meet early at Coffee at Dawn?  Early means around 8:00 or 8:30 to me since it takes me 45 minutes to get there.

Looks like we might see the same pattern for Sunday, but no decent hour-by-hour forecasts that far in advance, yet.  Hopefully each day this weekend will have a few early hours of rideable weather in it.   

Besides, my new Sidi Vertigo Mega boots showed up today, so I need to get some rain to test their waterproof claim.

Just for the record, I have to say these Sidi Megas are the best fitting motorcycle boots I've ever worn!  If you have wide feet (like me), treat yourself.  You won't be sorry.

I'll be there relatively early like today, but we can hang around for a while and sip coffee whilst we wait for latecomers. 

It was a blast to meet JJ and follow him down from the crest once.  Another excellent rider-member of the HDH.  I don't know where you guys found all of these folks who are so fun to ride with, but I thank my luck stars I fell in with this group.  Thanks for the fun, JJ, Ed, and Karl.  Sorry we missed you, Ducmouse.  You would definitely have had fun, today!

Karl didn't mention it, but we did get wet on the last trip down.  I can now confirm that my shiny new boots are, in fact, watertight.

I'd like to make it. I unfortunately won't be on the Duc. It doesn't have a front tire at the moment.

Cloner and I waited out the rain to make a run just in time to get home to watch the race.
