All,

I just purchased a very expensive set of wheels for one of my Ducs and dont want any chances of damage.  Any shop you recommend that you trust not to mar them up?

Also,  who has the better prices around for tires?

thanks so much

Bah,

I just do my own tires, as I don't trust anyone anywhere with not screwing up the rims on my bikes, my gf's bikes, or any of my friends bikes. So much easier to just spend the money, pick up the tools needed, and take care of it yourself than to hope and pray some schmuck doesn't make a mistake and screw up the rims.

I've been doing my own tires since '02, and haven't scratched a rim in years after getting past the initial learning curve, and investing in better spoons, and rim protectors.

BC.

Not much going on in my working world unfortunately.  I'll figure it out!  And I'll be very very careful.

Hey whats up. I just put a set of carrozzeria's on my 1098 at my shop with a NOMAR tire machine.
I can do Carbon, , magnesium ect .

My machine will not mar up the rims as there is no metal on metal contact to put the tire on.
What kind of rims did you buy?

Let me know

Steve

PS: I can get you a set of Michelin 2ct for $300 add $40 to mount off the bike.
My ph# is 720-244-8558  Shop line 303-795-3474
I also use a static balancer VS the beads that some use.

Picked up a new Pilot Power 2CT for the rear of the SPS today from Mad-Moto.

Big thanks to Steve!

Meticulous attention to detail, a good price and a cool shop!  He even gave the old Duc a bath.  [thumbsup]
