DQ - I recommend getting John to the dirt asap. Use your size to your advantage and follow through with simple ground and pound. Hammer punches are your friends.

John - DQ has you in size but I think you might have him in reach. Keep your distance, short jabs to the face. keep your feet lively. Try to wear him down and don't let him get into you. Once you have him slowed enough go for the submission.

Remember if it gets to the point where you pull a knife be prepared to use it. Nothing worse then getting stabbed with your own knife.

Last time two of my friends were "joking" with one another eventually 1 pulled a knife on the other and cut the shit out of him. He's been in jail for about 5 years now.
