Likewise meeting you, Scott. How did you know me was me, btw? Did I look bewildered, or just jet-lagged?

Of the people I met, who are members here? Kingbaby and Hunkypunk I got. John, Ed and Jim- are they members? A guy named Matt who rides an S4R and I spoke fo9r a while; I'm pretty sure he said he's not a member.

Big Red, my '97 Monster. All stock except for the EVO clutch slave cylinder and a Nichols nut to do away with the suicide sidestand. I've sort of resolved to leave it stock as a "classic".

Red Dog, my '01 back in NY, is a little modded-out: High-mount Termis, no windscreen, bar-end mirrors, seat cowel. I'm thinking about braided brake lines. It's much quicker than the '97.
Nobody said that I did. Everyone says that I would.

I am also trying to post more, just to see what it takes to outgrow the "New Member" staus.
Nobody said that I did. Everyone says that I would.

I just know most of the local Ducati owners at this point, Nic.......at least the ones who frequent Coffee at Dawn on Sunday mornings.   ;D

You know that Kingbaby (Keith) and Hunkypunk (Larry) post here often, as does Kingbaby's S.O., Dusty (Rosemary).  Others who both post here and often ride on Sundays include Zaster (Karl), DucMouse (Krystle), and THP (Matt), all of whom didn't appear this weekend.  There are yet others who post occasionally, and who show up to ride occasionally.  Of these, I've only met a few.  TripleThreat , RatFink , JJ (who actually lives in Santa Fe) , Kawboy (who often appears when we have a Tuesday Ducnight), and others.  Finally, a third group is composed of more distant friends who post here, but either used to live here and have moved away (Bonfy and Goduc, for example), or who just wanna be associated with a bunch of freaks like us.

Lots of others ride often, but don't keep up with the board.  John (on the tarted-up 1098), Ed (on the very practical red 1098), Jim (who rode his Kawasaki this weekend, but has lots of Brit junk, too) and Mark (who rode his Agusta this weekend, but also owns an 888 and a BMW that I know of) are among those.

Kris, who rode his tarted-up 1098 this weekend rides often, but I'm not sure whether or not he monitors this board.

Anyway......there ya go.

I'm sure you'll meet more of the group before you have to skedaddle back to Long Island.

VERY funny HP.  Ok, just found this really quick. Don't think I have any more but the bike looks vaguely familiar....don't you think DDGM?   8)

If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.
