Hi Everyone,

My name is Ted and I'm from Palo Alto, CA (Bay Area). I just began riding and purchased a 2002 Monster 620 Dark with 6K miles. I've been a long time Ducati fan and since I'm on the shorter side, the low seat height was a major selling point. The fact that the Monster is a seriously cool bike was just an added bonus. I ride recreationally on the weekends and would like to take some longer trips in the future.

The Monster shares the garage with a 2004 BMW 330Ci ZHP, 1960 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite and the occasional Tesla Roadster (I work for Tesla Motors).

So far, the forum has been very helpful. I hope to repay the favors in the future.

hasta la pasta,
Ted

Welcome Ted, nice wheels! [thumbsup] ;D

Make sure you check in with the MOB (Monsters of the Bay Area).

Hope to meet up with you at a local event or ride soon.  Are you going to La Ducati Day?

Hi somegirl, thanks for the suggestion. I didn't realize there's a Bay Area section on this site.

Nah, but I am on the other side of the great divide between north and south California!  I'm just one of those freaks that likes all things "proper"...if it's Brit, use the Brit slang, or pronounce the words as they should be...like properly pronouncing Porsche as "Porshah" not the Americanized "Porsh"...twits...
VIVA LA EVOLUCION!!!
