Nice pix. Gee, Barbara is so much more photogenic than I am. Need to work on that.

It was a great night and great to meet everyone. Another reason why Albuquerque is feeling more like home.

I must return to my missionary positi... Errr, work for the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Nobody said that I did. Everyone says that I would.

Wow!  That looks like it was a ton of fun!  I guess I was there in spirit!   [evil]  I didn't get my fair share of raping, pillaging, and plundering though so I will have to make a roadtrip down there in the near future for a catch-up session!   [evil]

[laugh] Thanks for enlightening me on that one.

SPH, you were absolutely with us in spirit, and we can't wait for you to come into town for a visit again.  You know we are always up for some plunderment, etc.  Bring it girl!!!   [thumbsup]  [bacon]  [bacon]  [bacon]  [bacon]

Besides, Mr. Bacon has been asking about Lance.

Some scattered impressions of the evening and the group:

All the guys enjoy cooking.

Meg wins my award for Stealth Wittiness and Innuendo.

Cloner's reference to Arthur Avenue caught me pleasantly by surprise.

The proximity of alcohol seemed to make Mr. Bacon very randy.

Will we see a photo of DucMouse modeling a Ducati Bikini ("Ducini")?

Kingbaby can expound on an amazing variety of topics.

'70's era Hondas were common to many of our pasts.

Politics and religion were not discussed, except for my proselytizing for the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Last Tuesday was one of the highlights of this trip. Not just meeting new people, but meeting new, nice and interesting people. And this board is a common link, but it only offers the opportunity for an old geezer like me to continue to enjoy life.

As I have previously pointed out, I've been on this board from about the day it started, and had a few years on TOB. I was mainly a lurker.

I think my lurking days are over.

I can unselfconsciously post now, seeking new ways to annoy Kingbaby and spread the word of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Just in case the post count didn't give this away, huh?  Already up to "Full Member" in just two weeks.....me thinkst thine lurking days are, indeed, past, Mi Amigo.

I know you're on an airplane right now, but it was good getting to know you and Barbara, and I hope you have a save and speedy trip back to Long Island.  See you in December.

What a crazy week it's been for dusty & I. We haven't been on the bikes at all in far to long & are most sad that we didn't get to make a pass up the big dirt pile with you Nic, but there will be many chances in the future  [thumbsup]

The dinner & Zinc was a summer highlight for us for sure, great conversation, people & food.
Make sure to order up a green chili, pineapple & chicken pizza next chance you get.  [laugh]

I think everyone here will agree that it's rare to find people that immediately mesh right in & it's as if you were here the whole time.  Being on the general forum a lot, I see what it's like when everyone is "right" & no one can take a joke & if you don't have the same model & color bike as theirs, then yours is crap.  They should all lurk here to see what it's all about...Fun!

Thank you both for spending time with us & we'll see ya' down the road!

I promise to make better mistakes tomorrow.

If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.
