there have been multiple suggestions that they could run a third car.  but i think he'll stay in GP.

Those were more for Kimi's benefit than anything.  Notice that they haven't come up since the "announcement,"

Rossi to Ducati is about nothing more than selling cigarettes....

So, how about Rossi on an MV?  Rossi and Burgess spearhead a group of well-heeled investors (including, maybe, Marlboro) that buys the brand from HD and - seemingly overnight - develops a competitive bike for 2011....Rossi breaking Ago's record on an MV would be, in Alanis's words, 'ironic'.  [evil]
