I was there with the kids, they absolutely loved it. The stunt guys signed posters for everyone. (on my son's poster, the guy wrote "Go fast" but it looks more like he wrote "Go fart").

Anyway, I came back later by myself and rode a GT 1000 (non sport). Chris was there, too. It was a pleasant little trip.

The GT 1000 is nice, smooth, and a fun bike to ride. It's no where near as powerful and sexy as a Monster. But few are. I think the GT would make a nice beginner bike for my wife.

A dyno chart of the GT and your monster might have you singing a different tune.

Cheers to that! When I'm on my Monster, listening to the tune of my Leo Vince exhaust as it sings the tune of the Ducati twin, I feel like I'm riding the best motorcycle on the road....the Ferrari of motorcycles! Who cares what a dyno says, there's no way that the dyno would make me feel any different than I already do when I ride.

The dyno chart won't make you feel different but the extra power on tap at the throttle surely would.  [moto]

You know, I wouldn't mind doing a dyno run sometime for the mere fact of the fine tuning. I'm due for a valve check and belt adjustment anyway....plus my bike has been running a little rich for a while now, so it might help a little.
