hey guys my name is Kin
i just got the 09 pearl 848 and my gf got the 696 ( ill let her do her own intro)
i grew up riding minibikes, 3 wheelers, and atvs, and have been on street bikes for about 4 years now.
my first real bike was a 99 R1 with gears, exhaust, and a power commander  ecu.
i am a decent gear head on cars but am still pretty noob when i comes to bikes.
so for the most part ill just hang in the background, observe, and learn all that i can.

where are you from? make sure and check out the locals board for your area if you want to meet other ducati owners (great way to learn/wrench on the bikes)
also, tell your gf to check out the womens board as well. not that she isnt welcome everywhere else, but most of the ladies gravitate there as often as not.

i am from Guam but am now residing on Oahu Hawaii. went riding with a few of the guys yesterday and hopefully some more in the future.  thanks for the info

What you need to do is take the address of the image and put it inside the [ img ] [ /img ] tags (without the spaces).

so is there a thread specifically  for us to put up pics of our bikes and rides that we go on? or is it just more what ever where ever? i have a bunch of pics of the monster and the 848 but not sure where to post them or if anyone is really interested in seeing them. so let me know ok.
