WTSDS

My son bought himself a spiffing new 696 last week, wow, it looks so damm WICKED

Only thing I didn't like was the silly air scoops on the tank, but then again they do look better than handlebar dings :-)

Termis will be on when he's notched up 1,000 km

2000 Monster Dark 900 ie   Stock except for low Staintunes and a centrestand. 15:39 sprockets make for excellent highway gearing

so...in modern history.....has ducati made a decent mirror.....the Monster...NEVER not in 15 years, the 999 was ugly (especially 1st gen)....

the 1098 has some good mirrors, cause I don't notice them! the 996 as well...

Thanks for that.  Yes I like the look...a bit different & it was as close as I could get to a Cafe Race style short exhaust while still keeping it legal.

They sound good although not overly loud but I really need to compare it to another aftermarket exhaust to see how loud they actually are.  They sound quite to me as my last bike was a Harley with straight through exhausts & I had to wear earplugs!

Nice bike, can I ask what's with the dog in the back ground.
Spider please come and admire the pearl Monster.

Nice mirrors  [bang]

I do like the new monsters really - just don't like the mirrors.

Nice bike Geezmoz. [thumbsup]

Thanks!! Have added some bits to it, planning to get bar end mirrors, but worried that I can't lane split... LOL

mattyvas

You can still Lane Split with bar ends, CRG L/S mirrors or the normal ones no problem.

I've just put bar end mirrors on mine with clip ons & they are basically the same width as the standard bar.  They certainly trim the look of the bike up by removing the standard mirrors.
