Hello, My name is Jeremy, living in Tacoma WA.  Bought a 2007 Monster 695 recently and am finally able to ride.  I've always liked the naked bikes and my buddy convinced me to buy one.

Good work by your friend [thumbsup]

Do you have any plans for it? Exhaust, suspension, .....  8)

Welcome and congrats on the Duc. :)

I see you already introduced yourself on your local board. [thumbsup]

Hope the riding is going well.  Have you taken the MSF course?  If not, you might want to sign up, it is very helpful (plus can help with discounts on insurance and gear).

We love bike pictures, so feel free to share if you have any.

Have fun, ride safe. ;D [moto]

Thanks for the welcome!  I have plans on some aesthetics, like moving the signals in closer, different mirrors.  I've been told WA has a law against changing out the exhaust, so engine performance is on hold till further reserch done.

I did take the MSF course, got the insurance discount, but didn't know about gear discount.

Check if your credit card is in good working condition and then, only then, check out our bikes for inspiration

We also have a law against it in CA but that hasn't stopped most of us.  If you do decide to change it, make sure you keep your stock exhaust; that way if you get a "fix-it" ticket you can swap it back.

Many, not all, stores will give you a discount on gear within a certain amount of time after MSF, it's always worth asking. [thumbsup]

Agh!  I looked at the pics before checking my credit card! [bang]  Those are some sic bikes!  Definitely inspired by the owners work.

Good thing about "fix-it" tickets, they normally aren't too expensive, if anything at all...hmmm [evil]
