Hello Forum! I guess this would be my first post. I just purchased a 2007 S2R 800 a few days ago (awesome ride) and I'm wondering where to find the torque values for this bike?

Help would be most appreciated as I want to do an oil change ASAP.

Ok, so this is a super noob question, but i've got to ask so I know. With all these torque values, how do you know when you've reached the specific number. Do I just have a shitty torque wrench? It doesnt have anything that tells me i've reached "33nm of torque" Again, sorry for the ignorance, but drop some knowledge

What kind of torque wrench are you using?

but i still dont know how it tells me how much nm i'm applying

The Craftsman is a 'clicker' type:  you set the desired torque by twisting the handle and the wrench clicks when you get there.  Dunno what to tell you about the Home Depot one.

Well, it took two trips to Sears and creative use of auto jackstands (held the bike up by the frame sliders) but finally the front wheel is back on.

Only an Italian motorcycle would require two torque wrenches to restore the front wheel. At least they were on "Black Friday Weekend" special, and I'll be all set when another 12k miles elapses and I have to replace this tire.  [moto]

Does anybody know the torques for the major bolts on a 2009 M1100S?  Pinch bolts on swingarm, etc?  I don't need the whole bikes bolts listed!!!   [moto]

What about the fork top caps (plugs)?

I'd say yes.

That's pretty standard torque for that size fastener.
