You can see smoke from his rear tire skidding as he approached the corner. I bet he was just a new rider who didn't know 1) that the rear end lifts up and loses alot of traction when braking, as well as being afraid to haul on the front brake, and 2) how quickly that bike would accelerate.

That was just REALLY dumb.. you have to respect the bike.

For some reason I thought he was going to come back and fly through the air and clear the fence

Here's my take on it:

He was trying to do a stoppie.  But he messed up, prolly saw the gate coming up quick and decided to sit back down but since he was up over the top of the throttle on the front brake when he came down he just twisted the throttle more and BAM!

But yea any guess is as good as that.  Just looked like when he pulled away in the first run he wheelied a little too.

Yeah I saw a little wheelie action there too.

Man, I'm gonna try so hard not to be an idiot with anything I do...
