Hi All,

My 696 needs its 12k service done and I was thinking about taking it to Balmain Motorcycles since it's just around the corner from work. Does anyone have any experience with them in terms of Ducati service? Are they any good?

Cheers
David

Hi David,

I will pre-empt a deluge of silence and suggest that they may not be 'recongnised' for their experience with Ducatis. Most in Sydney mention Flywheels, Gowanlochs, Desmo Clinic or if you are concerned about 'authorised Ducati service centre' Penrith Ducati.

But I am usually wrong so I stand to be corrected.

BTW jump into the Intro thread (although you have kinda given the game away already) ... that way people can impress upon you the importance of posting pics of your bike in an appropriate way [cheeky] ;D
Believe post content at your own risk.

Thanks Betty,
I might take it to Flywheels then, it seems to be the next best option. I used to take the bike to Fraser in the past but had bad experiences with them...

That's unusual [laugh]
As mentioned, flywheels, gowanlochs or desmo clinic [thumbsup]

+1 go see Rob at Flywheels, he'll take care of you and your 696.

Flywheels is often busy. Mike as DesmoClinc is a new shop and he's at Ryde which is really easy to get the train from and not too far from Balmain

True transport is okay from Desmo Clinic, you can even walk to Parramatta River and get a ferry.
Flywheels have not been so busy lately, I have dropped in a few times for help on things.
