Ever do something really dumb when it was simple?

Had to exchange the front clip on the 14 tooth sprocket as it was causing some wear.  NO biggee..order the part, get the red loktite, set the 6nm on the wrench and it make the beast with two backsing snaps off UNDOING IT....  whoever put it on the last time must have tightend the bastard to hell.


Took off the sprocket, let the liquid wrench seep in and then tapped it out.  Now I have to wait for a new screw. (story of my life)

I had a similar experience repairing my eyeglasses this morning.   

i hate that.
