Finally got around to sort out the cable ties all gone, except two up near the steering head.
After seeing a few posts here, and said it could be done.whats to loose. crappy looking ties [roll]
Find a nice comfy stool some new ties and a few hours all done
Rerouted a few cables ,and tucked a few away, there's enough
places to retie  the cables to do a good secure job.
To me it has been the best visual effect on the bikes look so far.
so simple changed the whole appearance :)

Black belt covers coming soon ok :P

mate, that looks fantastic! well done....the best mods are the ones you do yourself and think of, not the bolt on variety.

that is the second best tyour motorcycle has ever looked in my opinion.

(brings  backs memories of my 1000s)....bloody good work....I remember looking and thinking what a massive job it would be....how long did it take and did you have to disconnect or lengthen anything?

well done again!

very nice job, the lighter coloured frame really highlights the black ties so it looks super clean without them. [clap] [clap] [clap]

I do to Betty, it gives it that industrial look. Something the Japanese would never let leave their factory. I like the fact that it doesn't looked polished (perfect)\

It just got the better of me today ran out of cleaning [roll] started with one wire, and now look [roll]
Didn't cut any wires or lengthen any, just unplugged a few and rerouted a few up under the tank.
with the seat off tank up and side covers off.
Just a little common sense, just watch nothing is touching any thing hot/rear header or rub on something sharp.
And all cables are supported sufficiently.
About 3 hours tinkering and double checking? :)

it is simply one of the most impressive mods I've ever seen. It's beautiful !!!!

bella figura!

(they are not meant to look industrial they are meant to look good! - Italians do not care about industrial looks...they care about looking GOOD!)

(how each of us interprets that is why they look different!)

Thanks HEAPS for those pics!    [bow_down]
One of the things I need to attempt on my bike; good to know it isn't too hard, or require any real cutting/electrical work.
Any Pics with the tank up & seat off?

Nice work Rob.
It is such a simple thing to do, not that there is much to do on the S4Rs but I still tucked a few things away.
The frame is such a nice part of the bike, seeing it cleaned up changes the whole look

I'd say that before looks better but then I see the fact that the cables are all tidied up and the ugly black ties are gone. plus I don't want to be called 'dirty old man by Jukie!

Betty only likes cable ties because he hasn't had time to do his yet  ;D :D :D ;D
