That R1 has a nice paintjob, but in general I think the new R1 is butt fuggin ugly, and that's being nice.  The front headlight air scoop combo is hideous.  The R6 is a much better looking machine from Yamaha.

Yeah, great bike but it does have a cross eyed grasshopper kinda face. It's distinctive, that's for sure. I saw in a recent magazine that some Euro specialty bike shops were selling Spies Replica R-1s. Complete knock off bodywork and some aftermarket (Akra??) slip ons. Too bad you can't get one here since he's a local boy.
