I say now, and hold me to it:

I am in for next weekend.  I will try my darnedest to get legal in that period, but I'm Brents'n no matters.

Did I ever tell you the story about the Zen master and the little boy?

Ask Ben about that stuff.  [laugh]

Don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

I'll most likely try to go on both weekend days next week.

Death by carbs?  ;)  Funny, as I know someone who said that later today as well.

By the way, glad you liked it there.   [thumbsup]

lol, maybe I'll drive and meet y'all down there

MadDuck

Drive? Did you sell your bike?
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

it's complicated.

the dude was cool enough to let me think about it for a couple of days, because he knew I was on the fence.

she wants me to keep it and take down the ad.

either way, it hurts my back too much to ride it, esp down to your side of the rock

What sort of phys therapy have you been undergoing?  The docs over at Hickam have me on this crazy regimen consisting of all sorts of lower back stretches and ab strengthening exercises and damn if it hasn't worked so far.  Had to go out and get an ab wheel and a big bouncy ball for the house, but I am going through MUCH less pain as of now and haven't needed the meds (for pain  ;) ) in over a week.

I'll attest to the stretches and ab strenghtening...I hurt my back in '88 and now have degenerative disc disease...I took Vioxx and Celebrex for many years, then about 5 years ago my Physical Therapist daughter gave me some stretches and strenghtening exercises to do...now I do these every morning for about 30 minutes and have been relatively pain free, I now only take Tylenol for my arthritic hands.

mostly stretching and that electric muscle stim stuff for now, I imagine that since this is week 3 it'll progress to strengthening

If I get my bike sorted out and put together I am definitely in for this weekend (both days even!)

Brutale

Ok, so what time are we meeting at Brents on Saturday?  8:30??

Eight thirty sounds good to me, unless anyone needs it to be earlier.  So who all is coming out?  I can always meet up in town if anyone wants to meet there, and then make our way over to Kailua.

eltristo

0830 is acceptable.  I plan on coming in from the north, so a town meeting isn't the most convenient.
