Looks like me and the family are moving to North Carolina.  We just bought a house in Clayton (outside Raleigh) I know I have not been super involved with everyone here but those of you I have met and rode with and enjoyed a few lunches with; it's been a real pleasure.  I will still be here for awhile selling the house and working while my better half has already made the move.  I will still check out the board regularly just to see what you hooligans are up too.  I am looking forward to those North Carolina roads! I will post up some pics when I get settled.

Sorry to see you go John! The improvement in roads would make it worth the move. [moto] I was at some of those lunches, it was good to get to know you. Sorry about the accident you had while you were here but it did result in a sweet deal on the new S2R1000 and you weren't hurt! [clap] Please stay in touch and you are welcome to harrass us with pics of the great NC roads!

Take care.

Wish you, Terry, and family the best!  [thumbsup]

Enjoyed hanging out a few times for lunches and the photo shoot.

Enjoyed meeting you and I hope Raleigh does well for you.
I do miss the roads in North Carolina ...but somehow I don't miss the state income tax.   ???
Even with the tax, that state is in serious financial trouble... that means watch your speed.
The local Gov't there needs $$$ badly and will use your "fun" to extract it.

My last trip to North Carolina, except for familly funerals, will be my last trip there.
DFW-MFer!

For grins:

that's old school! look at how many in that pic are no longer here. john stay safe. maybe you could meet up with LYD and go riding some time. he only a few hours from there. Blue ridge parkway is a great ride. the speed limit sucks but the road is well maintained and the scenary is second to none.
home will always be between the red and rio!!!
