Hello everyone my name is Moses.

Just purchased a '06 Tangerine Red/Black and brought it back to San Antonio, TX, for now. It's my first time riding and obviously my first bike. I saw a Monster Dark when I was taking college courses about 13 years ago and fell in love with them. I finally got a chance to purchase a motorcycle and had my eyes on a S2R or a HD Nightster (about 11 Harleys in my family). Well I saw this one and jumped on it. All the HD owners in my family including everyone else loved the S2R  [cheeky] . My dad and my brother took a small road trip with me to pick it up, about 360 mile round trip I think. We then put it in storage until I was finally able to ride it. In between this time, I took a motorcycle safety course, took my written test and received my M endorsement.  [clap] I also removed the silencers and passenger foot pegs, changed the oil with Motul, added some bar end mirrors, t-rex frame sliders, t-rex rear wheel stand, HJC helmet, painted the chrome headlight ring satin black and added a DDM Hi/Lo 35 watt H.I.D. kit. My uncle and I took it on 3 hour ride so that I could get use to driving it on the highway and what not. Here's the pictures from my camera phone. Look forward to meeting everyone.

Bringing it home:

When you get a chance, check in with your local group, THCM.

Have fun, ride safe. :) [moto]

Moses,

That (DDM install how-to) would be great.  I just ordered the DDM kit last night.

You obviously found the right board.  I lurk here all the time, but rarely post.  This place is awesome for all the how to's and tech help.

Working on how to right now, let me know if you have any questions. Did you get the hi/low or the just the low kit?

Moses,

I got the 55W hi/low kit in 8000K.  UPS tracking says the package should be here Tuesday.  If I run into any questions, I'll give you a shout.

Thanks!
