Just wanted to say howdy y'all. I started riding dirt bikes when I was 8 years old, and I raced dirt track for about 15 years. All total, I've owned about 40 different bikes, including Hondas, Yamahas, Hodakas, Suzukis, KTM, Kawasaki, Triumph, and Bultacos, and of course, Ducatis. My uncle had a dealership in Oregon in the 1960s and 70s where he sold Ducatis, Nortons, BSA, and Tahatsus. My dad raced a Ducati 250 single; once when he tried to fire it up, the Duc kicked him back so hard it cracked a bone in his ankle.

Sounds like you've got quite a colorful riding history.   What are you riding nowadays?

Right now I'm on an 07 S2R 1000 and I love it! My other Duc was a 1999 900 SS, which was also a nice bike. Can't go wrong with Ducati! Refined, like sipping a California Merlot

I'm in NorCal myself, but the SoCal group covers LA, San Diego, and surrounding areas, they're quite a few peeps in that group.

What is a peep besides the sound a bird makes?
