Congratulations to the Jets  [clap] I felt that a Bolts win was the most certain pick of all this weekend.

Jets...... you've had a great run, but you can start packing for vacation after next Sunday.

Jets now have to travel back home, coast to coast. Then they have to travel to Indie, which gives them two days less to prepare; plus, the Colts played on Saturday, which gives them an extra day to prepare. The Colt's rust has been buffed away; Gomer and the Colts will not be rattled by the Jets' blitzes.

The Vikes and the Saints is a tough one to pick. Minnesota's defense looks tough. But I'm sticking to my theme of picking the home team with the extra day to prepare. Saints over Vikes in a BARN-BURNER.  [thumbsup]

Next week predictions and beyond:

Saints/Vikings...how it should be!  [thumbsup] Saints offense looked back to early season form...and their defense actually showed up. As good as the Vikings O and D are, I have to go with Saints at home.

Colts looked tough...tough enough to beat the Jets at home.

Saints/Colts in the Superbowl. Saints win it for their 1st ever SB!  :)

Great game for my Vikings today.  [thumbsup] for those of us who are old enough to the poorly officiated game in '75, it was some nice payback.

Saints are going to be tough, though. The Superdome will be a very hostile environment. [laugh]

I'm very surprised about the Chargers/Jets game. I thought SD would crush the Jets.

So how bad will Favre look?  The last time he played the Cowboys, they knocked him out of the game in the 1st quarter, after intercepting him twice.  This defense is better and his offensive line kinda sucks.

I'm trying to figure out how the Vikings are actually favored in this game.  Other than home field, they really don't have an advantage anywhere on the field.

Just tell #4 if he retires for the third time to finally do it with some class: Montana, Young, Aikman, Moon, Elway, Plunket and Theisman all retired with class. #4 is a drama queen. I'm rooting for Peterson and Allen, but not for #4. Who dat gonna send #4 to the rocker??? [clap]

Why retire, if you can crush...crush your opponent? Best QB in the game.  [popcorn]

I like that prediction, but how funny would it be if the Jets managed to squeeze by the Colts on a last second field goal after the Colts forfeited the regular season game to let them in?

Sure, Theismann retired 'with class', but the big driver of his decision was the crippling leg injury that ended his career.

Be careful wishing injury on another human.  Karma can be a pregnant dog.

Are you Zygmunt Wilf?   :D

Why yes, yes I am.   8)

I gotta give the Zygmeister credit - he's assembled a helluva team over the last 3 years.

I don't know man...Favre may have figured it out! Retire at the end of the year...skip all the off-season workout BS, skip pre-season camp and 1/2 the exhibition games, and show up just in time for the season!  [laugh]

I'm not wishing injury on #4, I'm just wishing he would show some class and actually do what he says he is going to do. He can be sent to the rocker by a humiliating loss next Sunday.  8)
