I can't believe this, I can't upload those pictures of my hog and duc mingling.  My computer is rejecting all attempts.  It has me completely STYmied.  Pictures will be delayed until further notice.

Uh Huh.  Likely excuse.  It never happened.  It's just a tall tale you were spinning.   [coffee] ;D

No, seriously!  Wednesday night, I attempted to download my pics from my camera into my computer where I usually upload them to photobucket and then onto the DMF.  My computer isn't having any of it.  I guess even a picture of a harley slows things down to a snail's pace.  I deleted a ton of old picutres I had backed up on a memory stick, yet still my computer refuses to welcome the harley pictures.  Scarey.

It happened, I assure you.  I don't THINK it was a nightmare.  One way or another, I will get them up.  Maybe not till after my work week is over though.  No time to muddle through the trouble.  Too tired.  Must crash now.  G'night.

The Dirty Truckster was feeling put out and neglected since I picked up the Monster, so I took her for a little ride over to Heron Lake.  I rode the back way from Stone Lake to get my dirt road fix.  Good time for some solitude.

Run-down facilities at Stone Lake:

The dirt road short-cut to El Vado and Heron Lakes:

Pit stop at El Vado:

The next quaint little dirt road ended at Heron Lake, literally:

I found this little fixer-upper out in the boonies...NMMR Gangsta hide-out, maybe?

It even has modern facilites for the ladies!

And a remote watering hole out in BFE:

Those were excellent shots, Count, and a fine narrative.  I definitely want to check out the gangsta's hideaway resort up there.

Finally have my Four Hogs and a Duc pictures so even though it is way old news, here they are:

Barnyard scene:

Hogs so big, I couldn't get them all in one picture:

Feeding trough:

Lance motorboating some nonexistent funbags:

Lance buddied right up to this crew, just to irritate me:

Squeals, oinks, and quacks as we parted ways:

Great shots! Look at the freakin' parkin' jobs???!!! Nice with Duc in the middle, makes the hogs look like they are shyin' away!!!

AW   . . .  RIGHT.  I believe you now.  The brave lady in hog heaven.   I see Lance kept them pacified.  [clap] [clap] [thumbsup]

Gotta miss DUC night (if there is one) this week.   :(     Must work tonight thru Thurs.  Had to swap a couple of days.  But then I'll be ready to rock Friday thru Tues.  [moto]

Here's my version of the trip to Ruidoso.  The Monster is actually in some of these shots.

Beautiful day at Quarai:

Thriving metropolis of Claunce:

Lance wanted to pick up some latex at the general store in case we ran up on some alpaca:

No alpaca, but we did see this guy running down the middle of the road for awhile.  Lance chased him off the road carefully so he didn't get tore up in the fence.

Lance had to sit for a spell at Gran Quivira.  It was hot and dusty and he needed a breather.

This was an interesting iglesia in Lincoln:

Found this little gem from the Utah Run.  One of my faves!

Road to Chaco!!!

Lance says "Gimme all ya got!  I'm not scared!"

An interesting ride for the Duc.  V-strom, no prob!

Dusty seeing what she can see:

After 25 miles of marbles, we got to the park:

There are the ruins:

More of the Chaco ride!  We came in from the north at Nageezi and exited at the south on 57.

There's Dusty, checking out the ruins:

This herd crossed the road in front of us twice:

Dusty waiting for bonfy to catch up:

That was so much fun, we contemplated fueling up and doing it again in reverse.

There were some sandy patches where the bikes wallowed a bit, but not too bad really.  It was a great ride!  The road out was another 25 miles at least of excitement.

ha!  HA!  For sure!  Actually, the Duc did not disappoint me.  The road was washboard for a lot of it and that was my concern, whether I would jar it's delicate electronic system past it's capabilities.  Also, worried about cutting a tire since the street tires probably aren't as tough as off-roads.  But I kept my speed down and just tried to keep the shiney side up.  Like I told Dusty, it is no big deal for me to step off the bike anymore when the situation demands it.  I can't wait to get an off-road bike though.  That was so much fun, brought back memories.  Wish I could've let loose and played like Dusty.
