If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

If Dot4 was in the system from the factory, use that as a replacement.  On the 'other' board there is a write-up about compatabilities and bleeding techniques.

I use DOT4

Castrol LMA DOT4 unless you are filthy rich and can afford Motorex DOT5.1

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I use Wilwood high temp racing fluid in my clutch and brakes. I've had really good luck with it.

I just HAVE to share this story. I used to help a number of different racers & while with one at Daytona, he was to to pick up some brake fluid that night at an auto parts store. So.......he bought some & filled up the system - we never saw that he had bought dot 5. The bike was a 1st class racer with supperb brakes but as he went into turn one on the 1st lap, we were surprised to see him go straight. He stayed out (practice session) but came back saying there was something wrong with the brakes. We had to bleed & flush the entire system before we could send him back out. Do you know how fast you are going on the front straight at Daytona!!?? ???
