Hi there!  My name is Mike.  I'm from Canada and I own a 2009 696.  It's my first Ducati and I'm loving it.  I have two other bikes: a 2005 yamaha ttr230 (trailbike) and a 1974 HD Sportster.  My first bike was a 2001 yamaha vstar 650.  I've been checking the site out for info ever since I got my monster back in April. I haven't registered until now since there haven't been any questions I thought I could answer.  Anyway, great, informative site and "hello!" to everybody.
