Ok, here is the Saiga 12gauge with my current round of mods:
1. Telescoping M4 style stock (easy to remove stock, took some drilling to install current)
2. Replaced forend with an aftermarket piece that has 3 sides of picany rails (as you can see I used the underside one for a handle, which I had on hand)
3. Quick detach mount with picany rails for a scope. I put a Tasco red dot on it, well, just because I wanted to.
4. I bought a remington sling for 9$ at walmart which seems great. Just need to mod out a piece on the pack so it clips on. A key chain "holder" seems to be the ticket.
Enjoy my ultimate home defense weapon. If I need more than 10 semi auto 00 buck shots, I should have grabbed my AR-15.

Looks to me like about $3k worth of fun! Awesome weapon. I see guns but no pricing except the $200 Benelli.  [thumbsup] What's invested here?

Typically don't talk about what I pay for guns or bike parts, but not even close to $3k

Saiga 12 902 Compliant - $659.00 + 7% sales tax
Tapco M4 Style Stock - $60 or $65
Top Scope Mount - $35.00
New front end with 3 side Picney rails - $60.00
Front Handle - removed from my M4 when I had a bipod put on
Scope - 41.99$ at Walmart.

The prices of the add ons sans the scope are approximate, but pretty damn close. I think I spent 157$ on all that shit. Bought it off Gun Broker and ended up calling the shop and purchased more parts and they cut me a deal.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Not that i'm prying or anything but I started to check around the lowest price Saiga-12 around here on the net was anywhere from $1150 to $2400.

As far as this goes. . .

I'd love to sign it but can someone vouch for the validity?  That way I won't feel like Im giving my name and email out to a spammer/email harvester.

That seems really high, I got my Siaga 12 at a gun show a few months ago new for about $500.  It was fully stock with no 922r compliant parts in it.  A converted and/or compliant gun should go for more.  I know there are many sites online that will ship one to someone with a FFL for low $500's.  They are the Ducati monster of shotguns, a good time stock and a lot of fun to mod.

I read that, and I've read about the UN proposal/regulations/whatevertheyare.

Until somebody can cite something saying we've actually signed on to it, I'm calling shenanigans.
