I have the stock seat off my '03 M800, you'd need to swap out the locking pin, I'm using mine in the Sargent seat I have on there now.

The last few times I've had to go the DMV have been alright, no long waits and things went fine.

I'd say frame, fork, and bar end sliders, just to protect the tanks as best you can against the 0mph driveway tip overs common to new riders and short riders.  Does she have some riding boots with a good heel?  That helps too.  Swingarm?  Nah.  Having laid mine down in the driveway I can tell you the cans will touch down and the swingarm never sees asphalt.

High mount cans... so not sure if they touch easy or not... as to bar end sliders... we have CRGs lane splitters... maybe I should put the mouse ears back on...  [bang]

Ok, with high mount exhaust swingarm sliders are probably a good idea.

IIRC, there are/were some nylon type bar end sliders with a notch cut just for CRG lane splitters.  If there aren't I'm pretty sure any machinist with a lathe could cut a groove for you in your own set.  Heck, we could probably do it ourselves with a drill press, a sharp object, and a few beers on a Saturday.  What could go wrong?   [drink]

If you want to save the CRGs for now, you can do what I did and install the Third Eye bicycle bar end mirrors.  Great little mirror and only $15 for a new one if you trash it.  Don't look quite as cool as CRGs but you can get a par for about half the cost of a low end CRG.

GAAN

just get used to the idea that the tank is going to get the dent

when she gets her legs underneath her

then get a new tank

ryandalling

I already pre-emptively took care of that. Bought a bike with a dent in the tank already.

Those aren't dents.  They're concave turn radius enhancements.  It's the #1 rider mod on Monsters!

Why do you think all the new Monsters have those concave vent thingies?  Ducati saw what a great idea we all had and made it a feature!
