upcoming spring mods....looking for suggestions

Well, I got a small bonus at work and I want to spend a little on my bike.  Emphasis on the "little" part.

So, here are a few things I would like to do.

First, new blinkers.  This mod is long overdue.  I would like to keep it under $50 for all 4, and I'm cool with ebay specials.  I would like to go LED, but don't want huge resistors to have to hide somewhere.  Suggestions?

Second, a windscreen.  Riding with no wind blockage is killing me.  I have the dual headlights, so a typical windscreen is out of the questions.  I'm thinking of getting the Aztec 8 one.  http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/N4W001S/Windscreens/N4W001S.html   Thoughts?

Third, if budget allows, I would like to get a few bits powdercoated, like the rearsets and maybe the headlight bracket.  Anyone know a cheap local powdercoater?

Oh, and fourth, I still plan on chopping the extra set of stock cans I got from Schwanger and hopefully rattle canning them black.

My only comment is that I think most of the aftermarket led blinkers have the resistors built into the circuit now. Search around and check for that in the product description.

yeah, I replaced the stock tail light with an LED one and the resistors must have been built in.  All I had to do was plug it into the existing wiring.

I modified my stock cans and documented the process.  So, unless you know how, I could send you the "how-to" on that.  I'm pretty sure you lose some performance by doing it but I liked how mine turned out sound wise.

Don't look at this.

Careful, if the forward current is too high it will work but you lose some longevity. The guys who talk about their flashers going fast are pulling too much current.

You cannot argue with crazy because crazy is not willing to be convinced. Hell, it's not even willing to listen to the arguments.

Whoa wait a minute....you sparkies always find a way to confuse me.  Can't we do this with yellow flags, cams and pulleys?

well here is what I settled on:

You can't beat that price and they will go nicely with my blacked out look.

I also got my rearsets powdercoated flat black.  I just got the call that they are done!  I'll post some pics when I get them.
