oh, you know what.. my comment was based on an interview he gave a couple weeks ago.  just realized that was from the test at fontana, not daytona.  fontucky was brand new to him.

well anyway, i still think he's in deep mental doodoo.
Like this is the racing, no?

Hoppper will win unless he proves to be irrevocably broken.  Which, like gm2 says, is a real possibility.  Man, I can't think of anyone recently whose career has gone backwards so quickly.  Jeebus, Hopper.   :-\
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

it's a popular pasttime these days to give him shit, but not even close.

jt has 2 world titles, including a really hard fought and impressive 2007, and, until the bridgestone switch, was doing very well as a GP rookie.

+1.  JT went from a satellite GP ride to a factory WSBK ride, the same bike that won the championship last year.  And he's been pretty competitive in testing.

Hopper went from a factory GP ride to a privateer WSBK, which lasted only a couple of races, then couldn't even get back in WSBK (along with that 3banger GP weirdness).  He's now in AMA on a privateer bike that blew up in each of its first two races.

It was a joke. From world champion to piano man in 3 seasons.
