I'm most certain it's due to my lack of intrest and attention paid to the effort. As stated, it's just been my observation with me personally so there you have it. I'm a dolt.    I have 5 computers I've synced my iPod to so who knows where they all went. My theroy is that when I sync to one it erases all the songs and puts what's on that computer on the iPod. And to think I'm a 'Techie' ? 

I love my iPhone.  I find it transformative, easy to use, convenient, well designed and extremely practical.   There are things I don't like, but the don't detract from the overall experience for me to even notice. 

I will be buying an ipad.  Yes, it's an overgrown iPod touch.  That's why I'm buying it!

But you have to pay for internet?

it seems you do because from the writings they will have a different SIM card.   

One ipad is wifi only ( no pay )
one ipad ( later ) will have 3g ( monthly fee )

and you know this how?  wifi is not free in most places I travel.  I want portability and would like the SIM card to be the same so I can swap them out.  I hope the battery is better than on the Icrap phone I have because it sucks.

ok I read it wrong.  so I'm guessing the ipad will be wifi only to start with like the regular imac is I have.  I'll pass and keep my laptop then.
