We had a blast. Much better bands this year. Good times hanging out with McKraut and Bryna. Glad the giant pizza made it home. I thought for sure the wind would catch that big box. Stef is getting a little more used to being on the 1198 but that back seat wasn't meant for anyone to actually sit back there.

I had a lot of fun at this.  Good to see Scott again (looking healty), Lisa, CJ, Ron and Steph, R & B, and Red [thumbsup]

The best part was at the Belmont with beer and a cigar while milling around a parking lot full of bikes of all kinds.  You meet many more people like that than while sitting at a table with people you know. MHO.

I'll start a pic thread so iPhone users won't have to wait for pic uploads on this thread.

WOW!  Never seen so many badass bikes all in one place.  Must have been 300 at Lee Harvey's when I left at 4.  The band was just getting started so I'm sure they'll be seriously packing 'em in by tonight [moto]

Thanks to George and RED for leading the way from FW into downtown - I still have no idea where we were but, man, what a show.  Bike watching, people watching all in a variety of semi-convenient local venues   [laugh]  I'm happy to say Ducati were very well represented today; still out numbered by about a million to one vs. the Triumph folks tho... I guess it's the thought that counts, right?   [bang]  [laugh]

Anyway, good times and really standout Ducati peeps.  Andy and Amy, Dan, Ron and Steph, Charlie, George, Alex, Rich and Bryna - great to catch up and just chill for a while.

And I'd also like to personally thank whomever it was that ordered up the Typhoon winds this afternoon  :o  Holy smoke, if I were any closer to the tank I would have been underneath it  [laugh]

I went through the conyons downtown, WOW!  A blast from one side, then the other.

Thanks for picking up the tab Lisa [thumbsup] I owe ya.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Youre welcome Donald. But maybe my "fish" burger

Ha!  Be glad it was just a pickle chip and not a sliver of roof off the bar :o  I feel O.K. this morning after my hybrid MeIsh burger... Hope you're back to 100% soon.

Yup, good times fo sho!

It was cool hanging out with the usual suspects and seeing folks (Andy, Amy) that I've not seen in a while.

What a turn out!  :o  [moto]

I'm in for this next year.  [thumbsup]

Just wanted to give a shout out to Lisa and CJ. I really enjoyed the slabbing with you guys. It's always fun riding with you.  [thumbsup]

This was one great weekend. I enjoyed the different bikes and people. Great time was had. Here's a link to my pics.

Thanks for making it out. It was great seeing all you guys. I had no clue that many people would show up. Amazing. Next year my bike is going to need a side car for my liver.

In the next few days I am going to collect all the different flickr streams and whatnot and put links at rockersvsmods.com.

Also, I've known Sheldon (the big bartender at Amsterdam) since he was 19 and I have never seen him when he wasn't a hyperactive glass breaking freak of nature. So either he's had a thousand dollar a day coke habit for 15 years or he's a high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production.

Cheers!

good times at the amsterdam last night.  well, i think to be fair the best time was had by the big man bartender, who both alex and i agreed must have been on coke.  byrna thought maybe crystal meth... either way though he was having a GREAT TIME!  thanks to ron and steph for hanging out extra long and sticking around for some sofa king pizza.  you'll be happy to know the leftovers arrived home safe and sound   [thumbsup]

looking forward to lee harvey's later today

[laugh]...that is Sheldon...honestly, that is just the way he is.  I don't think I have every seen him act differently, at least in the three plus years I have known him..  He is actually one of the owners of the Amsterdam.  Ex-Navy dude also.

Sheldon is one of the nicest guys I know period. And yes, he's got the energy to spend. Like I went to the bar Saturday night to order, caught his eye, he smiles with that psycho glazed eye look, I look down to reach for my wallet, I look up and he's one stepped it onto the bar and is getting another box of mugs down from atop the cooler! Definately special ops.  [laugh] [laugh]  [thumbsup] Has an awesome bike too.
